Technology Update: Impact on Personal Accounts from 10/11 -10/14

Access to banking channels will be restricted during this time.

  • Branches (including safe deposit box access) will close at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 11 and will reopen on Tuesday, October 15 (after the Monday holiday).

  • Online, mobile, and telephone banking will be unavailable beginning Friday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. through part of the day on Monday, October 14. A more specific time will be posted to our website.
 

Please conduct your banking transactions ahead of the weekend, as other banking services will be restricted.

Online, mobile, and telephone banking will be unavailable beginning Friday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. through part of the day on Monday, October 14. A more specific time will be posted to our website.

Bill Pay

Access to Bill Pay is available until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, 10/11. Scheduled payments are not affected, but you will not be able to set up any new payments over the weekend.

Mobile Deposits

Unavailable. Cutoff time for same day posting for mobile deposits is 11:30 a.m., on Friday, October 11. 

e-Statements

Access to e-Statements is available until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11. 

Account Alerts

Account alerts are available until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11. Any alerts you previously set up will automatically send on Monday, October 14. Once the system is back online, you may receive multiple alerts and messages all at once.

Wires & Transfers

Wire transfers can be requested until Friday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. Scheduled and recurring transfers that are scheduled for the weekend will be processed on Monday, October 14.

ATMs, Debit & ATM Cards

  • ATMs will operate normally for cash withdrawals and deposits. 
  • Balance inquiries will be unavailable. 
  • Debit card increases will be unavailable.
  • Travel alerts can be placed but can't be removed.

Closed Accounts

Deposit accounts that have been closed for more than four months will no longer be available via online and mobile banking. If you need copies of statements for closed accounts, please contact us.

Accounts in Online and Mobile Banking

If you previously requested the bank to hide an account within your online and mobile banking profile you may see it appear again after the update. To hide account(s) from showing, follow these steps.

Monitoring & Budgeting Apps

Third-party monitoring or budgeting apps, like Rocket Money, Mint, and others, will experience delays in transactions from Middlesex.

Statements

Customers may receive two statements in October as a result of the update:

  • 1st or 5th Statement Cycles
    If your statement cycles on the 1st or 5th of the month, you will receive a statement on October 1 or October 5. You will also receive another interim statement on October 11.
  • 10th Statement Cycles
    If you receive a statement on the 10th of the month, you will receive one on October 11.

  • 15th, 20th, or 25th Statement Cycles
    If you receive statements on the 15th, 20th, or 25th of the month, you will receive a statement on October 11. Then, you will receive a statement when you normally would get one on October 15, October 20, or October 25.
  • End of month Statement Cycle
    If you receive statements at the end of the month, you will receive a statement on October 11. Then, you will receive a statement when you normally would get one at the end of the month.
